Does anyone remember a TV Drama that was shone several years ago (I cant remember the channel) in the UK called "The March". I have tried writing to the big Broadcasters but with no luck thus far. It was about a small tribe in Africa who where dying because of a drought, so they walked out of their village and headed North towards Europe, along the way they picked up other villages and soon reached hundreds of thousands. They had one philosphy that drove them on, "We are poor, because you are rich". I would love to find out if a copy is available. Please Help. Cheers.

THE MARCH - Film released 1990 starring Juliet Stevenson, Malick Bowens, Dermot Crowley, Joseph Mydell, Jean-Claude Bouillon, Sverre Anker Ousdal.....A North African messiah (Bowens) leads an exodus toward Europe to protest third world poverty and an EC commissioner (Stevenson) must try to resolve things before they get out of hand. This is essentially a British movie that was backed by literally a score of public broadcasters from all over the world including the CBC. sc: William Nicholson. dir: David Wheatley. 100 min. Cannot see it in print in the UK or US but I will let you know if I find it.
