I was thinking that. Surely Gennie and the baby should have been looked over by someone! Where did the placenta go?? Maybe Eric is gonna cook it up for a special B&B dinner!!

I half expected the midwife, was she there or at the other birth, saying "Twelve slices of toast, low fat spread".
Gennie's dress stayed remarkably clean after the birth.
