quite lol
not if your wife is the subject and the photo's are taken without your consent. Mountain/molehill perhaps but i wouldn't like it.
What hasn't been mentioned is if someone can snap them with a telephoto lens from that distance without being seen then so could a sniper.
I await with interest the headline on page three of "The Sun": Phoawr, what right pair of royal bristols!"
the Sun say they won't be using them.
"One does not get them out for the lads, one gets them out for one's husband"
it's owt and nowt. They have em out on the beach all over France. What's the problem with that?
But - it does seem to violate the very picky laws on privacy in France. That's different to the getting out of ones threepenny bits.
I cant find them on-line, the photos I mean!
perhaps it's because one day, though it might be some time off Kate will be Queen Catherine. Whether one cares for the royal family or not i do thing it's horrible to do this.
Limited sympathy. Whilst I think it wrong to photograph without permission, folk seem to have no right to stop someone else taking their photo. If one chooses to flash one's bits outside, that's the risk one takes. No point in complaining afterwards.
on private property wasn't it, so not exactly sunning yourself on the costa del sol.
I haven't found the pics yet (can anyone provide a link?) BUT if they have done that with a telephoto lens on a camera imagine what they could do with the same lens on a firearm. Sack the Royal Bodyguard !
Does anyone ever read the threads anymore?
There is no privacy for them, and they are being hounded by the paps (if you'll pardon the pun!

Google 'Kate Middleton Closer'.
They are such poor quality it might not even be her!
Yes, it is. It's really a trivial matter, save for the security lapse. It would be nothing as a story in France itself, but for the foreign interest.

How big an intrusion into privacy would it have been if she had had her top on ? Not as bad ? If so, why? . It's with an eye to the non-French market that these were published, a view to getting foreign profits. The French are very interested in our Royals and all they do: whether the Royals are topless or not, whether in public or in private, makes no difference. French women started sunbathing topless, in public, long ago. We still seem to think there's something a bit naughty or daring about it in this country, that it's something only to be done in private and secretly here, and so these photos are doubly offensive to us as a breach of privacy.

Wonder what nan in law will say about that?
Kate topless, Harry bottomless, what next, the Queen and Philip hosting a nude garden party, would be great for the guests not having to worry about getting an expensive outfit!
