Did Terry take the money when he went..? I thought Tommy had snatched it off him.. I must have been distracted by a Hotel Chocolate box at the time...

Haha! Yeah Terry .....(aka leather sofa from Harveys the furniture store) took the money.....and ran....sorry....waddled off! The debt is now passed on to on Tommy

Thanks Curly.. must have missed him taking the money back.. he's a horror (Terry.. not Tommy.. he's ADORABLE)
It was all a bit rushed to be honest .....but Tina thinks its all sorted....oooh dear....x

I KNOW.. that's why I'm bit confusious..
Once again poor research on the part of the producers. Debt does not pass from father to son except on the decease of the former, and then only if the deceased's estate can support it.

Of far more interest to me was the lady having dinner with Audrey in the Bistro talking about the garden competition. "Bloody hell", I thought, "she looks just like my mother's old friend, Auntie Nell, from way back when". Made a point of pausing the credits to get a good look and, sure enough, it was Auntie Nell's daughter.

Blimey Mike.. a 'Thesp' in the family...
Not actually family. What we were brought up to call a "courtesy aunt".
mike, this is no legal debt enforceable in court.

This is a loan shark, with his own rules.

Care to elaborate Mike...? My mother (got rest her cottons) HATED non family members being called 'Auntie' or 'Uncle'.. am a tad ditto meself!

hc.. but we've established Terry ran off with the money... that was my pivitol point.. (bearing in mind this is telly...!)
I see where you are coming from, but at the time it was de rigeur. We children could never address adults by their forenames alone yet Mr/Mrs was obviously far too formal. As an eleven year old boy I was told that I had to address a 40 year old cousin as "Cousin Roy", and not merely Roy. Happily Roy thought different.
I know that he has come in for some stick in the past, but I thought that tonight Rat Boy played a blinder. Couldn't stop laughing.
Question Author
lol - rat boy.. never a name had been so suited!
The name,"Rat Boy", was actually coined to describe a feral youth in my local area who lived in the lofts of a housing complex and was a serial burglar. The police named him the "Singing Defective" in reference to a TV programme of the time, as whenever he was arrested and charged he would chant, to the tune of "How far can you put it in?", "No reply, no reply, no reply..."
