mick - I think they add the dog because BGT is all about variety. Except for the damned singers.

Hope the winners are Jonathan and Charlotte or The Choir but not the dog. When the dog passes on then her act has gone (sorry to be miserable) and to be fair it is a very limited act, albeit very well done.

The dog act was getting my vote before the show LOL

It's still a novelty act to the public, but not to dogdom. We call that 'heelwork to music' and there are dozens of such 'acts' at Cruft's every year, in competitions at junior (teenage and younger handlers) and senior level, and in an international competition.

Lovable Rogues is a class act, though.

It was a synchronised swim team that performed at his wedding but I don't think any of these girls were involved.

I think the difference is between the 'X' factor and BGT is that on X you have to fit a criteria of having the 'X' factor all round... but agree with why go on this... big to yawn all the singers except Molly .. who obviously cant be on X-factor.
