Why would Audrey need David to sign the salon back. She always gave the
impression she was quite well off without using any money from the salon.
First there was the life insurance from her Alfie and also the money [which was
quite a considerable sum] which she inherited from her friend Alma.

Quite. If she neeed a second mortgage on the salon she could equally have raised it on her house.
I wonder who's gonna own it next haha
Apparently she sacks David this week although if it's technically his salon I can't see how.

What about these funny turns she keeps having? Are we about to have
another demise on the cobbles or might Audrey be leaving to go back to
Rentaghost?
SPOILER ALERT,!!!
They have bee heavily focusing on Gail and Audrey with the drinking. 'thing' and Audrey is due a hear attack. (due to her excessive G and T's)
**heart**. Sorry. Sp
But she didn't get any life insurance from Alf because he had allowed it to lapse just a short time before his death
(dont remember Alma's inheritance)

Think everyone's aware of that one Tubby, no need to be so rude!
Tubby, not got much of a life yourself otherwise why are you on here being
so rude.
Its nice to be nice.
Are you aware that some lives have been saved through b????y Soap Opera's
You get a life Tubby! You have not got a life at all because you are on here talking about something you don't watch. It takes an intelligent mind to discuss fictional situations, ever heard of book clubs?
It amazes me that 'people'. (Tubby) hang around in topics they obviously dont give a monkeys about yet feel the need to have a pop at other peoples comments, i bet he doesnt go into 'relationships and dating' tell them to 'get over it' when they are heartbroken over a failed marriage etc........ Likewise i would not venture into the motoring section or technology cos i dont know anything about either, but wouldnt DREAM of telling them its only a car or only a gadget, so get a life!..........? So......Tubby.....take the advice the others have given you, and go get yourself a life!

Ok, I'd forgotten about Alfie keeping up with his insurance policy, but I
definitely remember Alma leaving Audrey a tidy amount. Anyone on here
remember that far back?
Yes, it rings a bell cupid. I SO agree with what Pips and Curlyperm said too.
Question Author
Me too, but best to ignore them. Don't let him/her spoil your enjoyment on here.
They've probably got not nothing better to do.
On nearly every thread about soaps some bright spark comes up with the same comments as Tubby up there ^, telling us it's not real. It has got really boring. We are, of course, just so thick that we think Corrie is real.

As someone else has said it's Tubby that needs to get a life. Too much time on her hands obviously to go onto threads she has no interest in and be darnright rude and very stupid.

Corrie is an 'Institution' watched by many very intelligent people and acted in by some very famous actors by the way Tubby.

If you can't say something useful then don't bother saying anything at all.
If you sign something over to someone legally it must be pretty obvious that you can't ask for it back or sack them!! A bit of a daft storyline actually.
Blimey, people like Tubby get right up my nose - BORE OFF !!!!!

I've seen a still of Audrey ripping up the contract that David has signed in front of him and the rest of the family, but will that make it null and void I wonder?

So, she's to have a heart attack is she - wonder if Lewis will stand by her?
no idea, but that david is a pain in the backside.
Him and his wife both !
