Trying to remember name of female childrens tv presenter!

yesterday we were all having a few drinks and a laugh, and my nubbie said when he was 11/12 he had a soft spot for a female kids presenter. all he can remember is that she looked early 20's, had dark shortish hair, and thinks she had an irish name or maybe an irish accent.and that apparently he pointed her out to my years ago on telly and I burst out laughing and said she looked like a pixie, but I dont remember that! does she ring any bells with anybody?? she would prob be about 50 now??

never heard of her, may google a picture. he says she was a bit similar to Emma Forbes? but then we are talking about an 11 yr old memory!

hmmm he said she def had dark hair - thought Yvette had lighter hair. timewise think its narrowed down to1983/84

Caron Keating's a good suggestion, I always got her mixed up with Emma Forbes and she is Irish, and very tragically passed away a few years ago.
