Read in the Express that Richard Madeley is going to be in the hot seat for radio 2 for the next two weeks. Bonza. Two weeks without that child Evans interfering with my commute. If I was the boss, Madeley would have that position permanently.

To think as well, that Russ 'n' Jono were kicked out of Virgin 1215 for this clown baffles me. They were #1

Oh! Spooky! I was, just last night, explaining to my daughter that Absolute radio used to be called Virgin 1215 and that Jono left on the other side of the revolving door as the ginger whinger entered the building.

Anyone is better than Evans. Can't listen to Radio 2 in the mornings since he took over. I have no problems with Richard Madely, he gets a lot of stick but at least his show will not be all about 'Me, me, me' and that dreadful voice of Evans' is just dire.

I haven't listened to Chris Evans' radio show but never liked him in other things because as you say, he was so immature and a really irritating little oik - but recently he has started a column in the Mail On Sunday Live magazine and he sounds a different person, his personal life is sorted and he is a proud Dad and I think at long last he has grown up! but maybe he hasn't .....I'm only going on this column...

I agree EvianBaby - haven't had the radio on all week because of the dreaded Madeley. I wonder how many times he's mentioned his talentless daughter!
