1990's Television series in WW2

Throughout primary and junior school (96 - 03), I used to watch a show following evacuees around during WW2, each child obviously got evacuated to different places, with some nice, some not so nice evacu-families.

Any ideas?

Was it called 'How we used to live?'

I loved that programme. My son used to watch it at primary school.

After looking at clips on youtube of How we used to live, I can say it's not that, it's been bugging me for a fair few years now, It was much more dramatic in terms of music, as a child I remember it being really interesting. Does anyone else have any ideas?
