I happened to catch this programme and they were trying to find the heirs to a Tim Rose.

I remembered him and this song from the 60's and he wrote Hey Joe that Jimi Hendrix had a massive hit with. He was a "nearly" man apparently and died in 2002.

Anyone else remember it? It's a great song.

I saw the programme chrissa and wondered the same but, they said he had arranged it not wrote it, is there any difference?

There was another song that was mentioned, It was a big hit also which I forget now.

Mmm trt, yes there was. I can't remember it now. What a great song Morning Dew was though.
Absolutely. He was a class act. But he definitely didn't write Hey Joe. Is the other song you're thinking of called Come Away Melinda?
