Ah I just checked, it's starting at 21;30
Are you following it Dolt ?
Question Author
Avidly Jayne. I love TV trials.
Have you formed a view yet, Dolt?

I'm only reading it in the papers. At the moment (this may change, of course), I think Dr Murray was acting for a patient who had little interest in conventional ideas, or conventional treatments.

He would have told his physician what he wanted, and just found a different physician if he didn't get it.

Dr Murray did his best to keep MJ safe by complying with his whacko demands, while trying to temper the treatments as much as he could, knowing that, if MJ went to another physician who was less concerned for his welfare, MJ would be dead fairly quickly. An example would be the series of progressively weaker drugs that Dr Murray had secretly ordered, apparently to try to wean MJ off some of his medication, but without telling MJ, who would probably not nave agreed to that process.

Nothing about the ministrations demanded by MJ could ever be seen as conventional. Despite Dr Murray's best efforts, MJ effectively killed himself. However, his family cannot accept that he was totally whacko (despite all the evidence to that effect). So, they are now examining all the treatments given by Dr Murray, and asking other experts if that is what they would conventionally prescribe, as if the conventional principles could ever be applied to MJ.

I'm not following it as closely as you, though. Am I thinking along the right lines?
JJ - Who administered the drugs?
I don't know, ummmm.

I've not been following it yet in so much detail.
jj, i think you may get a better perspective on this trial if you watched it live........dolt when it is not available on sky news i watch cbs news.

Prosecutors argue that Dr M's failure to tell paramedics and doctors trying to resuscitate him about the propofol is one of the negligent acts that make him criminally responsible for MJ's death.
The Dr's defense lawyers argue that MJ caused his own death by swallowing eight lorazepam pills and orally ingesting propofol while Murray was out of the room, this was proved not to be the case by many experts who say no propofol was found in his stomach contents it was found in his blood and the only way it could get there is by injection.

Personally I think he's guilty of negligence, Propofol is a strong anesthetic and should only be used in a medical setting.
Question Author
I don't have the CBS news station anna.
Murray murdered MJ for reward. As a doc he knew the danger of the medication, didn't re-direct MJ to an insomnia specialist as Murray's greed over rode his patients health & welfare.

Question Author
Yeah Anne! What do you think? or have you formed an opinion yet?
Leyland, you say the "Jackson clan to make a song and dance for the News/TV cameras"
I haven't seen that happening, IMO they seem to be keeping a low profile! They wont let the kids testify, if they were looking for more $$$ they would!
