Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Thanks folks ides did cross my mind but couldnt justify it and glass ceiling also but it did not fit with others however i have changed the T to an E and i fits.If i may i will give you that clue. Grown up removed a tree corrupted by base elements.10.I put adulterant but could get away with adulterate.I think.

The clue you've just posted says "removed" which suggests past tense, so the answer should end in ..ed - adulterated?

As an adjective, 'Adulterate' is fine - 'adult' + anag 'a tree'

Thanks Zeitguy.Ceiling does fit in better.For instance the second last letter
in ceiling i get from Satin.That is the answer to (Woven silk seats are meant to be.)5.SATIN.However thats me finished thanks to all bye.

As an adjective the meaning is verbatim from Chambers.

Thanks Lie-in King point taken but this is the Scotsman and to be honest i
did prefer when Peter Bee compiled this crossword.I always finished his crosswords.
