/// Schools will be penalised if they fail to improve the progress of ‘vulnerable’ groups of pupils such as those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual.///

Will these New Ofsted guidelines, tend to make teachers pay more attention to their minority pupil's education at a cost to the others?

"‘It is about schools being aware of the different groups of pupils that might attend their schools and doing all they can to ensure they reach their full potential."

don't see anything wrong with that.

"Ofsted does not have a prescriptive list"

so the gays, gipsy's, lesbians, chavs are just the list that the dm came up with ?
And how many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered children will they have to spend all that time on... puh leeeze more likely they will be spending their time on the current bunch of disadvantaged children born to parents who are barely more than kids themselves,or who come from homes where they never hear english, or where there is violence, abuse and neglect
what about emo's?
Pass the sick bag.
Shouldn't that have read ‘vulnerable’ groups of pupils such as those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual and Arsenal supporters?'
Git - you really do need to a) stop subscribing to the DM b) w@nk more often or take up pot smoking ...IMHO .
