I'm not sure why you're blaming Sky.

Surely you should either be blaming 20th Television (which is the distribution arm of 20th Century Fox Television, who make 'Glee') for demanding too much money from Channel 4, or Channel 4 for not paying up. Sky only stepped in when negotiations broke down:

Sky owes it to its shareholders to get the max advertising revenue and subscribers. It's a business, therefore it's doing exactly what it should do.
It's also a lesson in what people could expect if some on here people with very short-sight got their way and abolished the BBC

Totally agree with you bednobs, there is going to be nothing left to watch on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 apart from rubbish such as Big Brother. It annoys me because why should be have to pay further when we already pay a licence fee to the BBC.

Thanks to the way they are funded the BBC has many of the best programmes on TV.

I dont know how anyone can say there is "nothing to watch on the BBC".

As has been said, some of the best TV shown in the UK in on BBc (unless all you want is soaps and reality TV shows).

This latest series of "Who do you think you are" has been amazing.

And the series of "Royal Palaces" with Fiona Bruce
