I see that poor excuse for an actor is back on tomorrow night with further ham performances as the Doctor. I am a lifelong fan of Dr Who and have always considered the Doctor to be more important than the actor playing the roll. That was untill Smith took on the roll and started to make the series a comedy and a complete joke. What are the BBC doing to such a classic series? I accept that the writers have changed ,and that has not helped,Pregancies and babies is not a part of Dr who.

RIP Doctor Who.....bring back David Tennant.

bring back Tom Baker - THE Dr. Who
Dig up William Hartnell... oh...

There have been loads of dodgy interpretations of the role in the past, why pick on Matt Smith ?

I prefer Matt Smith to David Tennant. I've stopped watching because of the writing and storylines.

I was not trying to debate who is or is not the best Doctor. My intention was to see if others are as critical of Smith and the way the series is being handled, as I am.

I also liked David Tennant as the doctor and Russell T Davies wrote some brilliant episodes. The prog has really gone off the boil since they left.
I agree, mickrog- Matt smith has destoyed Doctor Who-and trigger-I am 48 and noone will ever improove David tennant, but Jon was my first dr. I did thread on how bad writing and Matt's acting is months ago-I still watch, but Doctor Who is a farce of the legendary programme-and if its true America is taking over next year- it will be ruined-although, will poss be slight improvement when they replace matt. NOT American actor-PLEASE
ps-still not happy no daleks for 12 months....
bring back William Hartnell, seeing as how he was the best,
and first Dr Who.
David Tennant was my alltime favourite and I like that actor who only played him in one series (great actor, but can't remember his name) I can't watch it now though, it's just daft !
christopher Eccleston
That's the one ...
Herman Munster, love it!

The way he talks, he reminds me of the narration you used to get on Ivor the engine and Noggin the Nog. BTW I don't watch now - I think he and the new writer have ruined it.
Noggin the Nog was my favourite and I'd forgotten him...thanks Postdog
Is it a sign of getting older? the Dr Who's are getting younger.....

John Pertwee, great, favourite is David Tennant, Matt Smith - ruined it.
but I've now got quite into Torchwood - and who writes that? Russell T. Davies!
I know - I'm sorry Matt I just can't look at your face - you are just not right for Dr Who!
