Tragic!!
Thanks Tinkerbell - I've switched over now.
I'll not watch..........
I would rather put a brick through my tv. Sorry, but a friend of mine cannot get a drug that could prolong her life and ease her suffering, while this ******* spent £1000 a day funding her drug habit.
I saw it last week on Murdoch.com
But Lankeela, tragic for your friend im sure but Amy Winehouse has no effect or influence on your friend.
My point was that her death was self inflicted so why should anybody give a sh*t? Even with all her money she chose not to get help.

Very very sad about your friend. I wish them all the best, but agree with ratter. I suppose its her money to do as she will. Its an addiction!

Its just sad when anyone dies at a young age to me pesonally, unfortunately addictions are hard to overcome. Its not affecting me as such, but the programme was recorded 3yrs ago, and edited to reflect recent news. Shame. X
It shows what a great talent that girl had. RIP Amy.

Yes jem it does x
I was a teenager through the sixties and could have had access to as many drugs as I wanted but I chose not to. No-one forces people to take drugs.
It will indeed be very sad when my friend dies (not quite as young but still too young to die). A fraction of what this ******* spent a day would be enough to ease suffering for the time she has left. Yet that pillock Russell Brand who is hardly any better himself says the government should be funding rehab!!!!!!
A talent that produced 2 studio albums and countless drunken drugged up shambolic live appearances

I get your point lankeela
Question Author
Hmmm :0/ people make mistakes i suppose. Indeed awful about your friend, i hope that there is a better out come to the one that there is now.

Xx
According to her Dad at the funeral today she has been clean of drugs for 2/3 years. He is setting up a foundation in her name to help people with drug problems. She replaced the drugs with booze.
Lankeela, the lottery regarding who gets life prolonging drugs is truly awful and touches many peoples lives each day. However I do not feel that if certain Celebrities were not drug addicts this would have any impact on the situation, I am so sad to hear of your friends's dilemma.
Question Author
Qbsolutley see your point lankeela. Ive made a thread in chatterbank incase we get into trouble here for chatting LOL...see you there mabye xxxxxx
I totally agree with you mamy.
some people are spouting such vitriol about this poor girl
You have no idea about what drugs do to you, none
Walk in her shoes
Those saying 'my friend can't get this or that' cannot lay blame at Amy Winehouse talk to the government or your friends local NHS! For crying out loud this girl died aged 27, your anger is misdirected

Look long and hard in the mirror before you cast any stones!
>>some people are spouting such vitriol about this poor girl

She made a lifestyle choice to spend her time drugged or drunk and that lifestyle probably killed her. No one forced her to do it.

Cant believe the stupid people putting bottles of alcohol as a "tribute" outside her house.

My first wife was an alcoholic and it killed her before she was 50.

Alcoholism is not nice.
