Can anyone help me please?   Many years ago [? 1980's] there was a TV documentary about a very independent Welsh girl called Alison who suffered from cerebral palsy who married a Church of England vicar.   For some unexplicable reason, I just keep thinking about her and wondereing what happened to them.   Unfortunately, I can't remember Alison's surname or the vicar's name or even what the tv series was called - so haven't been able to delve deeper into archived news.   Can anyone else remember this programme and possibly remind me of a few facts please?   Or, even, help me with an update?   Many many thanks in advance.

Can remember it but don't know what it was called. For some reason I've got a vivid memory of her walking down the aisle while the congregation sang a hymn and he looked so happy and was singing along. Thought it was part of a series called something like "who'd marry a vicar" which looked at the lives of vicars wives but searches have drawn a blank. Sorry I can't be more help but you've got me searching now. Hope someone can come up with the answer!
