itv sit com from 1980's

i've got a vague recollection of a tv sitcom that was shown in the early 80's (80/81 ish i think). it was shown on the itv network on monday evenings either at 8-8:30 or 8:30- 9pm. i don't have much else to go on apart from the theme tune went something like "you win some you lose some". i have looked through tv sitcom sites but without remembering the title it has been difficult to locate. is anyone able to name the show?.
