cartoon baddies' side kick

Can anyone recall a cartoon from the seventies which had a baddie who had a side kick who was a toad?  When the side kick used to mess up, the baddie would smack him with a fly swatter and the toad would say 'bad toad! bad toad!' (It's not Dangermouse)  It's been bugging me for years - put me out of my misery!!
