right, who can help me out on this situation. my back garden backs onto common land and there are horses who are kept on to this common land by their owners, and sometomes they get thethered near my back wall. the horses have been seen and caught on video camera by ourselves itching themselves against our wall when they are pegged nearby, today we find ourselves with no wall as the horses have pushed it over with shear force of them scratchign themselves onto it.

where exactly do we stand as owners of the demolished wall? we were thinking of approaching the owners, but before doing so, would like to know the best way to go about this, they are decent people, and i think would not take too much offence by us approaching them! obviously we would like them to fit the bill of the rebuild of the wall.

any answers greatly appreciated.

Most stables are made of brick and they can take livestock scratching; how old is the wall & can you charge the builder ? Your property insurance should cover replacement.
