My parents owned their home as tenants in common. My mother died leaving her half of the house in six equal shares to my familly and sister, 7 years ago. I did probate but father and I were both executers and my sister, aged 40, went to stay with him and made me fall out with him so as to make him change his will, which was going to be as mothers, six equal shares. She suceeded in doing this when he became very ill, leaving all of us out of his will. Can we claim, back dated rent for the past seven years, from father or my sister. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If I understand you correctly, I think all the stuff from "and my sister...." to ...."she succeeded in doing this" is not relevant. I hope someone can answer the rest.
Sorry if I didn't address the rent issue. Was any agreememnt made at the time about rent? I'm no an expert in this area but i would have thought that a rent can't be agreed now and charged retrospectively
