We have been to a presentation today with a company called Personal Travel Group, We have signed a contract to hand over the deeds of our timeshare, (have paid for the privilege, but are glad to get rid!) Would like to know if anyone has had dealings with the company and has anyone had their timeshare transferred out of their name. Is it a pukka Company? Is there any way we can get out of the contract? Thanks in advance

I'm constantly suprised that people will sign up with these companies .

Why cant people just say 'no' , in the first place ?
I'm baffled as to why you would sign a contract and then ask about the companies credentials afterwards.
I'm afraid you've been conned - 100% guaranteed.
You will not have removed your liability to the existing timeshare and will be 95% certainly committed yourself to something additional from the new company.
Secondhand timeshare, with very very few exceptions on rare and prestiguous sites, is worth next to nothing.
Hi, not sure whether this:
http://www.personaltr..._Terms_Conditions.pdf
is what you signed up to, but it does state that - should you sign the statement - you have 14 days to cancel and get your money back? Definitely worth a try whilst you're still in the 14-day window.
Good luck,
PL
