In Internet Explorer 8, there was a little arrow next to the back button so that you could go back to a recent page, not just the page before.

I wonder if there is a way to get that little arrow in Internet Explorer 9.

Right-clicking on the back button should display your recent history, so that you can go back by several pages.

Brilliant!

I was pretty sure Microsoft wouldn't have got rid of that feature.
Internet Explorer 9 is still in beta and has a long way to go until its final release next year so if you are not happy with any thing there is a part in to make suggestions on things you wish to change. By downloading it you agree to do this and if you have a Windows Live ID you can do this as part of the agreement with Microsoft.

Galeck, I'm perfectly happy with the new back button, now that Buenchico has explained how to use it!
