My son has been on income based job seekers allowance since he lost his job about 18 months ago. He moved in with me at this time and so gets no housing allowance although I lost my single persons council tax benefit when he moved in. He has now found a part time job 2 hours a day 7 days a week for which he will receive a few pounds more than his JSA, he is fairly happy about this but I wonder if he will be able to claim any other sort of benefit when he loses his JSA. Any help will be welcome. Janet

when he loses his JSA? hasnt he lost it anyway or surely getting alot less than the 65 a week. Is there a reason he cannot work more than 2 hours a day
I can't think of anything, but I assume he will still be looking for full time work?

and have you checked to see if you can get any benefits yourself?
