Can anyone help .......... I put my flat on the market last week & instructed a HIPS to be done, with deferred payment till i've sold. Now the HIPS have been suspended..... do i still have to pay for it & have it done?

Estate agent says i do, but i haven't signed the paperwork yet.

estate agent would....unless you have agreed sole selling rights (baad idea) or a specific length of time that the EA would be sole agent, why don't you suggest that you might go to a more amenable firm and see how that goes down??
On the tv yesterday the bloke in charge of the hips business group said that if you had ordered one then you have to pay for it.
mmm he's gonna have fun enforcing that one!
If you haven't signed anything, I can't see how they can force you to pay!
