hello, I have received a solicitors letter concerning an injury allegedly sustained by a person posting an unsolicited/unwanted/not paid for magazine through my letterbox. It would appear that I do not have "Domestic Legal Protection" with my insurance company only " Property Ownres Liability"
I beleive the solicitor is acting in a "no fee basis" initially.
What are my realistic options in law ?
thanks

do you mean theyhurt their fingers on your 'snappy' letterbox?

i would suggest they have to prove it...do you have a bad letterbox?

if it is overly 'aggressive' i woudl suggest you replace it - this person is only doing a job, and should not be injured by this...

if its a normal one then i woudl say the fault is theirs ...
thats why I have a notice on my door NO LEAFLETS NO FREE NEWSPAPERS.
and BEWARE OF THE DOG !!!
