For my artist work, I don't use my real name, but rather a pseudo. Is it possible to open a bank account with this pseudo ?

you need ID, including a National Insurance number, to open a bank account so I think that is very unlikely.
You may have a chance of setting up a business bank account- traders (Joe's Tool Works, Curl up and Dye etc) must have the same issue as you.

You will need ID etc for your real name, certainly, but I wouldn't give up on having the account in your business name. Certainly not until you have discussed it with your bank

I've seen both styles - J Smith T/A business name and just business name.

You may need to set up a company in your pseudo name- which might involve more expense and admin than it's worth.
It's perfectly possible to set up a business bank account in any name you like. It needn't be a company. You will however have to prove your own correct identity to the bank to open it. Speak to your bank.
