Hi

This scenario happened to me a couple of weeks ago:

Dawn Raid by Police and Trading Standards
Approx 30 items of counterfeit jewellery seized
Approx 150 items sold on ebay for between £25 and £30
Items if genuine retail for between £200 and £300 hence a "loss" to the industry of between £35000 and £50,000.00
Questioned at police station they are awaiting forensics from a laptop (nothing on it)

Never been in trouble before

Any idea of likely punishment?

Thanks

Hallo, B00 :o)

I understand exactly what you are saying, however, JimmyCooper is utterly blase about his actions and ought to know better than to initiate a thread without displaying a modicum of contrition...........
where has JC gone btw ?????
I think he's making friends with Bubba in cell 5.
he's gone to pack his toothbrush, Bobbi :o)
I doubt he goes to prison...

If he thinks he's been hard done by BOO, he should be in here giving sh!t back ???
If they find all his illegally downloaded music in their investigations he could be in even more trouble.
I doubt he will get a custodial sentence but they will fine him and may confiscate property under the proceeds of crime act.
tut tut Jimmy. you, a man of the cloth :(
Like it __NOK__
This guy has done wrong, is clearly cr*pping himself about the possible outcome and is just asking if anyone can advise him. Now I don't condone what he may or may not have done and I don't necessarily think he's a "loveable rogue". I'm just not into taking advantage of someone while they're down and kicking seven shades of sh*it out of him just to vent spleen. If I want to get into that kind of suburban, curtain twitchy, small minded, petty nonsense -I'll go out and buy the Daily Mail.
Perhaps if you had bought something from this toad, you may feel different.
maybe he should have gone to the Citizens Advice Bureau instead then!
Hey Mustard.. I think thats a little strong...

kicking seven shades of sh*it out of him just to vent spleen

If you knowingly break the law you have to accept the consequences. I would like to point out that several posters were asking him questions about whether charges were made etc - and he chose to ignore them ALL... only responding to the wind up comments.

We're all grown up here - if you cant take the heat - stay outta the kitchen... and Jimmy clearly is!
Hey AV...been there done that, bought a "Rolex" for 30 quid years ago -no hard feelings towards the "toad" that sold me it either -and it still works LOL.
