I believe it's against the law to name and shame any thieving sod who has robbed you regardless of their age, as was evidenced this week when a shopkeeper named a local yob in his shop and had a visit from plod...

Libel or slander (which are civil matters and dealt with by way of compensation if the complainant is successful) will only succeed if the allegations are untrue.
