What is the buyer's legal situation having bought a 6 year old car from a dealer, to find after 2 days it boiled dry and blew the cylinder head gasket.?
The seller is endeavouring to wriggle out of any responsibility saying it had been " driven through deep water" ( which it had not). and will only repair at the buyer's cost including the RAC charge for delivering the car to the sellers facility for inspection.

Was the carsold with any warranty as such? I believe every reputable dealer will give at least 3 months warranty for a car of that age therefore I will persist.
