i had a accident at work on tuesday and when i went into work on wednesday i received a letter from my manager telling me he would be holding a meeting with me on friday to discuss what happened an to decide on disciplinary action . on wednesday afternoon i was called in to see my manager were as i was suspended on the on spot an he citied the serious nature of the allegation an that i hadnt given him the facts an that he needed to investigate the allegation of what had happened my reason for this was due to the letter i recieved on the wednesday morning telling me about the meeting on friday i am now left without knowing what is happening as he told me that a meeting will not happen till next tuesday i feel this is an unreasonable amount of time can any one help with there views ?

This is difficult to follow because of the way it's written but i think you are asking whether it's reasonable to have to wait until next Tuesday for a meeting. I don't know how complicated the circumstances of the accident are or why the meeting has been put back from Friday to Tuesay, but it's important it is investigated fully and that all the relevant people can be consulted and involved in the meeting. A week doesn't seem particularly long. I assume you are suspended on full pay. I know it's a worry but I think you will have to go along with these timescales.
