How do I know if the fence is mine?

Not sure which section to post this in.

How do I know if a fence is mine or the neighbours I looked on the title deed but it says nothing and there are no little t's marked on the plan.

Not sure where to go now

thats very odd! would the solicitor who helped you buy the property know.. The only other things could be to see which side the post is.. though this is no guaranteed way of indicating who owns it!
You don't.

It will belong to whoever put it up. If that was the builder it's now joint property between you and your neighbour.

If your neighbour (or his predecessor) put it up it's his

If you (or a previous owner) put it up it's yours.

And whoever it belongs to unless it says so in the deeds there is no obligation to maintain it.
