TUPE and contracts

Hello ,i was T U PE transfered from one company to another. New company increased my hour verbally . I have been doing these new hours 18 months is this classed as a new contract or an extension of my transfered contract, i have not signed anything new ? Thank you

Well I've just hadto look up what a TUPE was as I had no idea.

I can't answer but it seems there are sites that can, including this, so you could always try googling if you get no further joy on here.

If you haven't been issued with a new contract of employment then you are still employed on the old one. A change in hours wouldn't require a new contract but a letter should have been issued. It would be wise to ask for a letter of confirmation of your new hours.
