I have a preliminary hearing to decide two aspects of my Claim in the county court on Wednesday. I have only just found some information on the internet which I believe has a bearing and could be useful. I'd like to have it seen by the judge at the hearing. Disclosure/inspection of documents took place some time ago. Will this new item be allowed?

Disclose it to the other side immediately by way of a copy and tell them you are seeking to rely on it.

It may or may not be allowed by the Judge, it really depends on the relevance. All you can do is ask.

Related to the above. The document I am considering is a listing of the company from whom I am claiming, showing its status ie a sole trader with limited liability (French). It is information rather than proof such as correspondence - which makes up much of my bundle. So, could I simply report the facts when I give my evidence ie state that I know the company's status to be such and such...?
'appctd'.....impressive shorthand - Pitman turns in grave - aaah!
If it is registration from the french version of Companies House, it is a matter of public record and should be admissible. You could try and get a proper certificate of registration from them.
