hi , i bought 3 pairs of boots 2 pairs were 135.00 dollars each and one pair 98 .. dollars, my friend owes me for one pair at 135 and 98 dollars my problem is knowing how much in english money she owes me as i was charged �258.88 english money for all 3 pairs but on my credit card it says 2.524.48 CNY @ 9.7515 SHEZEN CN so not American dollars but cant work out what currency it is so i can convert it and work out what each boots cost in english money. they came from China, have emailed them but not heard anything so stuck, hope someone can help please.

The charge was made in Chinese currency - the Yuan.

In US Dollars the total spend was $368. Of this your friend owes $233.

So in Pounds you friend owes 233/368 X �258.88 = �163.91.

You can ignore all the complications of currency conversions. Your friend's items represented 63.3% of the bill based on the dollar prices. Apply this % split to the pounds bi;; and your friend owes �163.91
