i recently took over the lease of a garage,(bought the guy out) and there is a set of car ramps in there that have been there for some time, these are thousands to buy, and they were left there by the previous owners mate, now i have been in contact with the previous owner to get his mate to collect them, but after a couple of months i have given up, so can i have these ramps, under that well known phrase"possesion is nine tenths of the law"?

personaly i wuld get back in touch and tell them if they are not removed by XX XX XXXX you will keep them
If they are useful you could just use them until somebody asks for the back, I can't see anything wrong in that.
I agree, I would use them until someone actually claims them back - hopefully they won't!

thanks the only thing is, that you have to have them installed in the ground, which costs over 200
having been involved in clearing a few large dealerships recently, ramps/lifts are always left behind due to the costs & hassle of removing them, they usually need a qualified electrian as they are often 3 phase..one dealerships had 10 almost new ones must have cost 10s of thousands, still got left behind ..
i think you can safely say its yours !!
