I am in the process of buying a new car and was excited about purchasing a New Beetle. However, looking at the interior specification, it only has 2 seats with 2 seatbelts in the back, although it has room for a small person in the middle!
As I often have 4 children with me, this is a pain and I will be unable to buy one, unless it is possible to fit a seatbelt in the middle seat.
Can this be done? If so, is an expensive?
Thanks K.

I have now bought a Mercedes A class, as there is great room in the back. On inspection of the Beetle, it is a tight fit anyway in the back. Your answer was very sensible TWR.
I have a vw beetle and if you have ever sat in the back you would realise why it only has 2 seat belts.I personally think it's a great excuse not to ferry other peoples kids around as well as my own!!Best thing ever!
