Alan Hansen received a police caution for indecent exposure in 1977. Cazz and helliebobs, if you can find my original post on that subject, there is a link to a newspaper report from the time. True, it's not a conviction, it was a caution. But it happened. People just don't want to believe it about the nice Mr. hansen do they?

Its not a case of not wantiong to believe it clarion, I am puzzled as to why its such a big issue? he commited an offence that was not chargeable 31 years ago, he has kept his nose clean since, why continue to keep trying to condemn him?

I was drunk and stopped on the way home with my also drunk mate and we took a pee break ..behind a wall.
Next thing a policeman said move on or he would do us for indecent exposure ....oh my god ....I didnt hang about.
Imagine going to court for that.
It was a quiet road and the wall was out of sight. I'm not talking about 2pm in the local high Road ..this was 1am ...and in a back alley ....the police car was parked out of sight ,,and they were having a smoke/coffee break.

still just mindless ranting, okay he obviously does not like alan hansen, but is it fair to hyjack every football question regarding alan's career with this type of insensitivity?

I wouldnt mind but a lot of other football stars have committed much worse, some have been to prison as a result!

Yes it is rather strange, plus note how he never quite manages to back himself up? And he always says he'll come back to you with the proof or the article or whatever.
10ClarionSt, did Mr Hansen and his strange starey eyes appear in your nightmares as a child or something? Or did he just refuse to sign your autograph book and you've resented him ever since? :)
