someone at work has taken money out of a purse how can we legally catch them

It's difficult unless you have CCTV. I worked in a place where someone was stealing out the till and the finger of suspicion lay with everyone which wasn't a nice feeling. Just keep your eyes peeled I guess. Maybe set a trap......

leave five pound notes in the purse ,,,, but mark the " notes " , with distinctive small , pencil , and pen marks , -- then kepp a copy of the the "serial numbers 2 , on the notes ....... also phot copy if possible the notes , ans tell any security guards , at the company of this "set up 2 procedure ,,,,, meaning any one , in a MANAGENT POSTION , or a security guard ,,,,,,, -- maybe contact the nieghbouhood police also ...... and the Nigerian embasy ,,,,

It is an offence to deface a BoE banknote (maximum fine �200 for each offence)...
