can i use toluene as an octane booster for my car engine ?

its not worth it.. too inaccurate and you'd kill the engine if not measured perfectly. You car needs to be tuned to the exact octane rating aswell.

my car is tuned for 110 ron but the highest you can get in this country (uk) is 98.it works out to between 10-25% to bring the ron rating up to spec.i would really like to know if there would be any undesirable side affects in using additives.octane boosters you buy from the shops are only toluene,meth and atf combined in the correct ratio which thanks to my source i know the correct ratios.
