Is it correct that letting out rooms in your house is tax free is they don't have locks on their own doors?

the first �4250 is tax free when renting out a room if you follow certain guidelines.

You can rent a room out in your home and earn up to �4,250 before you have to notify the taxman.
Locks on the doors have nothing to do with it.
They mustn't have their own front door - the room must be part of your own home.
