What is the position if a neighbour disposes of garden rubbish using a metal incinerator and only 4' from a party wooden fence? It was pointed out to him the dangers of the situation but he just laughed and ignored it.

It seems there is no by law preventing a householder having a fire in his garden. You can complain to the council if he is a persistant nuisance with smoke drifting into your garden as this can contain harmful toxins.

For a twit like this to have a fire so close the the boundary probably means he needs to speak to a mind shrink.

As someone who has had incinerator fires for years, 4ft is actually quite a safe distance.

There is no law against having a fire in your own garden, providing its safe to do so and 4ft from a boundary is a safe distance

If your garden is in excess of 40' wide would you position the incinerator on top of your neighbours fence so that he can inflict his smoke, toxic fumes and discomfort upon you? If the answer is YES there are more selfish ignorant people about than I first realised.

When a person suffers from Asthma and a chest complaint it just adds to their selfishness.
