Does an employee have to tell their empoyer if they have a CCJ out against them?

I suppose it depends what type of job you are doing but ordinarily, no you don't.
My fiance works in a bank and when he went for the interview they asked him if he had any CCJ's,they also did a credit check on him. I suppose it would just depend on the type of job you were applying for.Only tell them if they ask for the information though,don't just blurt it out.
