If you have been granted legal aid can you pay extra to get a good Barrister for a Crown Court case?

the point of legal aid is for people with no money or very little,if they were to see you paying money, they might ask you to pay the whole bill.

If someone has either elected trial or been committed to the Crown Court, chances are the instructed solicitors will instruct a barrister to act. Although some solicitors exercise rights of audience in the CC, most will instruct the bar and legal aid will normally be extended to cover this.
