what rights do i have over hp goods

i have bought goods on hp the items i have are nearly paid for ie:washing machine -television etc i did send some goods back because they were threatening sending bailiffs round i cant afford there weekly payment now and i asked if i can reduce the payments they said no they will pick all the goods up they phone me everyday day and night what can i do

go to citizens advice when you sign up for h p ,you have to pay for the item ,if you send it back they will sell it of cheap and still come to you for the short fall ,so dont send things back if the bayliffs come around they will be sent by the court so you will be told of the court date you have offerd to pay but a lesser sum make sure you pay every week even if it is only a pound dont miss a payment go to citizens advice they have a debt department dont be bullied i am not in law but used to be a debt collector ,not everyone in this game is as understanding as i was dont do credit save up and goodluck
on your contract, that you signed when you took out the hp will be an amount, after which they cannot take the goods unless you they get a court order. Make a nominal payment, your circumstances may change.
Write aletter of complaint to the people phoning, that is harassment, note the time and dates of the calls, just in case you do go to court, make your offer in writing.
I suspect they have no right to remove the items, if you've nearly paid. don't give up the goods, you will end up with a bigger debt than when you started, they'll add charges, interest all sorts on
