Is it illegal to park my car in a supermarkets car park with a For Sale sign on it?

No - but the supermarket can ask you to remove it and give you notice that it will be removed if you don't.

It is private property. As soon as you are asked to leave you are trespassing if you don't.

a lot of councils now have made local by laws preventing cowboy dealers selling dodgy cars on the highway,in harrow,they just tow them away and crush them.
Ask yourself would you be happy if I parked my car on your property with a for sale sign in it?
wouldn't this cost a lot in parking fees?
