Is a non-dated contract binding?

I have just received back a signed contract I sent to a client. It hasn't been signed by the person the contract is addressed to, nor has it been dated. Is it still legally binding?

If it hasn't been signed by the person who it is made out for then I would assume it is not legally binding.
