my mother in law arrived into this country and died. i incurred $4k in funeral exp. can this be a tax deductable item. if so . how? please advise

In the UK funeral expenses are deductible from the deceased's estate when assessing the amount due for Inheritance Tax and probate fees.
Your mothe rin law dies, dont pay for her funeral, dig a hole in the woods and put he rin that!!!
