Bus Lane cameras Turning Left

I was on the A406 Edgware (going to Staples Office supplies ) just B4 it meets the North Circlar. There was a Long steem of traffic in the right hand lane on verichels in a Bus Lane on the left. I entered the left hand lane 30 meters before turning left in to Staples office supplies.
I live in a small village out side of Nottingham Yes there are Bus lanes but I had never heard of cameras before My question Is: How is one going to turn left of this road if you can not enter a bus lane and how do the staff or customers get to staples with out entering this lane? Do I have grounds to appeal the fine?
