I have just given in my notice after 4yrs ,I have been duing 2 jobs since january when my deputy was taken ill.I have had a lot of health problems and the works doctor recommened that a temp was brought in, whilst i was under the hospital for tests not completed yet but my manager has refused to do this, he has also refused due to lack of funds to have machinery serviced and pats tested and other issues reguarding dept, so i was so stressed out i left,I then wrote to our head office telling them my reasons for leaving and for it to go on my record ,they have now want me to withdraw my resignation and are willing to help sort the problems out even though the head of dept was aware of what was happening did nothing. Are they worried i have a case for a tribunial They are a large concern and do not normally ask for resignation to be withdrawn when given many thanks

They may well be worried about a tribunal. If they are going to sort the problems then maybe you should go back and give them a chance, rather than face the hassle of possible litigation and be out of work. If you return and the problems aren't resolved then you should think about seeing an employment lawyer / adviser. If you are too ill to return to work then seek legal advice anyway as you probably have some sort of claim e.g. constructive dismissal / breach of duty of care to employee.
